The Ultimate Obstacle Course

The Ultimate Obstacle Course

“Whoosh!”the wind blew in the direction of the Ultimate Obstacle course on the field of Hunua falls Presbyterian Camp.  Lucy’s mum put us into groups(we were in our cabin groups) .   I felt like I was entering the hunger games. In my tummy a mixture of excitement, and happiness was filling up .  The sticky mud was sticking to our feet and the cheering was making me deaf.  After all the cheering and excitement for the first cabin  it was time for the next, my cabin!  Soon after Alex was past the hurdles so I started ,”Splash” I grabbed my cup of water and jogged off.  (the aim of the game is to get cups of water from one bucket to the other bucket but to get to the other bucket you must pass the
ULTIMATE OBSTACLE COURSE!)
Now I am going through the tyres and my heart is pounding with happiness!  Soon after I was sprinting around the cones,
jumping over a lane of hurdles and I was entering a maze of of poles ,jogging around them I tripped over and spilled all
My water also my mouth was filled with grass! what a bummer !  so I walked over to the net.  Alex had already started to crawl under it so I followed her.  After getting my head stuck a few times, I gladly made it out alive.  The waterslide was as good as it sounded they added dishwashing liquid to make you go faster .  After trying get the drop of water from my cup into the bucket, I picked up my pace and grabbed my next cup .  The
second time through I did much better I got half of the water from my cup to the bucket. After our five minutes was over (you only get five minutes to try and get as much water as you can into the bucket  and the group that got the most water in the bucket would win)We cheered everyone on and when I was in the middle of cheering my plaster from spotlight fell off so me and Lucy’s mum went to get another plaster.  When we got back everyone was splashing at the water slide but the bad thing was Mr VB told me to not get the new plaster wet.  So I left to get changed into some new clothes because I was soaking wet.  Then I just
remembered that I left my jandals at the ultimate obstacle course I looked on the field but it wasn’t there!  But luckily me and Alex  found them next to the hall!  So I went back to my cabin feeling tired but relieved!
